On 21 February 2019 in Copenhagen, the 6th Steering Committee meeting of the alliance brought together the representatives of academic leadership as well as administrative coordinators from each of the six 4EU+ institutions.
With the deadline for the Erasmus+ “European Universities” call within sight, the 4EU+ application was naturally the main subject on the agenda. The meeting was also an opportunity to present the 4EU+ website and to approve the alliance’s communication plan for the upcoming months.
The previous 4EU+ Steering Committee meetings were held at Sorbonne University (25-26.05.2018 and 17.12.2018), Heidelberg University (09.11.2018 and 17.11.2018) and University of Milan (22.01.2019).
The European Commission launched a pilot call for ‘European Universities’ in October 2018 under the current Erasmus+ programme. The action supports higher education institutions in going beyond existing cooperation models and progressively increase the quality, international competitiveness and attractiveness of European higher education. 4EU+ will be among the alliances applying for the pilot programme before the 28 February 2019 deadline.
