The 4EU+ European University Alliance brings together eight comprehensive, research-intensive, public universities from four regions of Europe to strengthen the European vision of deepened cooperation and mutual enrichment by developing a new quality of cooperation in teaching, education, research and administration, leading to the creation of a truly integrated European University System.

Information stands, interactive games, conversations with Student Ambassadors and even pizza – the start of the 2026/2027 academic year has brought plenty of opportunities to discover 4EU+. Across the Alliance, Local Offices and Student Ambassadors have been meeting new and returning students on campus, introducing them to international learning opportunities, mobility options and ways to become part of the wider 4EU+ community.

In March 2026, Villa Vigoni, Heidelberg University and the 4EU+ European University Alliance agreed on a five-year collaboration aimed at strengthening European academic exchange, extending institutional links and developing joint activities in research and teaching.

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Milan hosted on 15 September the 2nd TACKLE Workshop – New Strategies in Cancer Therapy and Drug Resistance, organised within the SEED4EU+ TACKLE project.

From 31 August to 4 September 2026, the second edition of the MAT-BIO Exchange Summer School took place at the University of Warsaw. 25 students from seven 4EU+ Alliance member universities, representing different academic backgrounds and levels of study were selected from a pool of more than 100 applications, with motivation letters forming the basis of the selection process.
