JN has participated in the acquisition of the photometric and spectroscopic observational material. She has also written a program for comparison of synthetic and observed stellar spectra. It was used to determine the radiative properties of stars, which project to the same region of the sky plane as eps Aur does - namely: HD31617, HD32328, HD277197. JN carried out the comparisons.
