Calvo-Zaragoza, Jorge; Hajič jr., Jan; Pacha, Alexander. Understanding Optical Music Recognition. ACM Computing Surveys, 2020, sv. ?, s. ?–?. ISSN 0360-0300. IF 6.131. [Článek v časopise]
Still under review -- previously returned with requests for revision (after more than a year).

Note that I stupidly forgot to add the project acknowledgment to the submitted manuscript (see attached), but if we get accepted, the camera-ready version will of course have it...
Calvo-Zaragoza, Jorge; Hajič, jr., Jan; Pacha, Alexander. Discussion Group Summary: Optical Music Recognition. Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 2018, sv. 11009, s. 152–157. ISSN 0302-9743. [Článek v časopise]
Participation at the GREC 2017 workshop and in the OMR discussion group led to formulating this invited paper. From the perspective of the grant, it is a nice added value for the travel money, and the paper positions the authors incl. the grant holder as the leading voices of the small OMR community.
Dorfer, Matthias; Hajič, jr., Jan; Arzt, Andreas; Frostel, Harald; Widmer, Gerhard. Learning Audio–Sheet Music Correspondences for Cross-Modal Retrieval and Piece Identification. Transactions of the International Society for Music Information Retrieval, 2018, sv. 1, s. 22–33. ISSN 2514-3298. [Článek v časopise]
The main publication output of the grant. Collaboration with partners in Linz. Multimodal audio-sheet music retrieval, on a large open-source new dataset. Invited paper to the first issue of the TISMIR journal, based on the first author's ISMIR conference contribution. (The TISMIR journal is a new initiative by the ISMIR community; the first issue was composed of the ISMIR 2017 best paper shortlist.)

Work done in collaboration established at the GREC 2017 workshop, where the PI has presented last year's publication from the grant. Admittedly tangential to the topic of the grant -- a highly relevant paper for the OMR field, but not multimodal. See Description of progress in 2018.

1st International Workshop on Reading Music Systems, The PI organized with his international colleagues the first workshop specifically on OMR and its applications, serving as one of the general chairs. The workshop attracted some 30 participants; 12 submissions were accepted through an open review process. The workshop was a satellite event of ISMIR 2018 in Paris, and was invited to ISMIR 2019 in Delft as well; a related WoRMS Hack Day at the Music Encoding Conference 2019 in Vienna will be organized as well.
