Abstract: Migration profoundly shapes the lives of young people and is a polarising and co in contemporary public discourse. In this seminar I show how Generation Z young people in understand both migration and activist efforts related to migration issues. Employing Thor concept of 'citizenship vocabularies,' I document and analyse young people's perceptions o in relation to migration, as well as the resources, narratives, and frameworks they use to of migration, citizenship, and civic life, to contribute to debates around youth activism, education, and migration. The study adds depth to our understanding of the development of towards activism within young people, and how the current generation of youth engage with issues. About Prof. Miri Yemini : Professor Miri Yemini leads a research group focusing on global education. The research group conducts multidisciplinary studies aimed at understanding po processes in the field of education, examining the practices of various stakeholders in ed worldwide, and proposing approaches to enhance educational practices within and beyond sch the years 2023 and 2028, Professor Yemini is leading a large international research funded Research Council, with the goal of studying youth activism in diverse contexts, including and human rights. Research within the group belongs to the fields of comparative education of education. Researchers in the group come from different countries, diverse disciplinary various fields of interest.
