WORKSHOP: Abstracts, titles and key words The workshop will concentrate on writing academic paratexts ‒ titles, abstracts and key words. The participants will learn how to select the best title for a paper, how to write an abstract for different scientific purposes (e.g., conference application, journal article), how to structure main research findings in one or more well-developed paragraphs, and how to make an abstract appealing and persuasive to both readers and reviewers. Examples of more or less successful texts for analysis will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own texts as well. Tutor: Mgr.
