            About guest: Dr. rer. nat. Mgr. Ing. Tomáš Hodík


            T.H. received his M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Chemistry and Technolo

            in 2015, where he conducted research with Professor Jiří Svoboda. In parallel, Tomáš earne
            Physical Chemistry from the Charles University in Prague (2015) and was trained in organom
            at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic under the guidance of Dr. Jiří Pinkas. To

            his Ph.D. in the research group of Professor Christoph Schneider at Leipzig University, Ge
            fellow. Later, Tomáš joined the research group of Professor Michael J. Krische as a Genent
            research fellow. Tomáš investigated the use of ruthenium complexes in site-selective prote

            and focused on total synthesis of natural products. In 2021, T.H. became a member of the D
            Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry at Faculty of Pharmacy at Charles University as an assist
            started his independent research in the field of organocatalysis.

            The debate will take place on Monday 5 December at the Hybernská Campus in Building 2D. Th
            event is 50 people and it is necessary to register in advance.
