Libor Stejskal

Libor is a research fellow at the Center for Security Policy. His research focuses on concepts of security and security policies, role of citizens in providing security and security-related volunteering, environmental and ethical aspects of security, and societal resilience. He took part in FP7 projects ARGOS (2014-2015), EUSECON (2008-2012), and in several projects within the Programme of the Security Research of the Czech Republic. In 2010-2011 he participated in a committee drafting the White Paper on Defence of the Czech Republic. In 2008-2009 he served as a security expert in the Czech provincial reconstruction team in Afghanistan, Logar province. Since 2013 he holds Ph.D. from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague, in 2005 he graduated from public and social policy, and in 2001-2002 he passed his military service.
