Since 1998, the University has been active in the Erasmus (former Socrates/Erasmus and LLP/Erasmus) European programme with a steadily growing number of student and teacher exchanges. Today Charles University has signed more than 1500 Inter-Institutional Agreements with 563 partner universities.
